We have a strong commitment to providing outstanding fixed income management across all sectors, in both active and passive strategies. About the Role : GFICC is seeking a Full-Time Analyst to join the team in India as a Quantitative Research Analyst supporting the GFICC Quantitative Solutions team. The GFICC Quantitative Solution team is responsible for quantitative research to complement the strong fundamental analysis framework within the fixed income business at JP Morgan Asset Management. The team is also responsible for building out and managing customizable, systematic fixed income solutions to meet the needs of JP Morgan Asset management clients. Responsibilities Include : - Running and assessing quantitative models - Analyzing quantitative signals and large data sets that are used as input to models, and systematizing the validation and reporting of model results - Data and analytics capabilities within GFICC, which includes enhancing the quality, breadth and depth of our data - Writing scripts to run basic statistical analysis, aggregation of data sets, or deriving new data points to help the GFICC business be more data-driven in their business decisions and in their assessment of the market and their portfolios - Work in collaboration with quantitative researchers to develop new quantitative models to benefit the GFICC business and to help drive a more systematic investment process Skill Sets required : - At least 0-3 years of experience in financial markets and data analytics - Prior experience analyzing and manipulating large data sets is required - Computer programming experience, with strong Python skills - Knowledge of SQL is required - Strong quantitative and analytical skills are preferred - Understanding of financial markets, particularly in fixed income, is desirable - Understanding of quantitative investment processes is a plus - Self-motivated, proactive individuals who can think creatively and deliver impactful business results will be most successful in this role Education : - Strong educational credentials - Engineering degree in computer science or post graduate degree in math, finance or other scientific discipline - Ideal candidates for these positions would be Post-Graduates from top Institutes in India Shift Timing: EMEA (1:30 pm to 10:30 pm) JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
