- You will join the Portfolio Construction and Quantitative Analysis group supporting the J P Morgan Alternative Asset Management (JPMAAM).


- The role offers the opportunity to develop a good understanding of hedge fund strategies, financial instruments and portfolio construction.


- The role demands the ability to balance quantitative skills with qualitative reasoning

Job Responsibilities:

- You will support other senior team members in the portfolio construction and quantitative analysis efforts

- You will contribute to a wide variety of projects in coordination with other teams within JPMAAM including Research, Risk Management and Client Solutions .

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

- A degree in finance, mathematics or other quantitative oriented degree

- Strong Excel skills are a must (including VBA/macros) along with Python, SQL and Tableau

- Solid analytical skills and experience processing large sets of information and data

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Good knowledge of statistical concepts

- Ability to execute within a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple concurrent projects

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

- Passion for global financial markets with a focus on investment and risk analysis

- An understanding of portfolio construction principles is a plus

- CQF is a plus
