Organization Description:
- Global Technology Business Management - India (GT BM India) is part of Global Technology Finance and Business Management (GT F&BM) organization that supports the technology organization globally. GT F&BM plays a pivotal role helping Global Technology organization shape & achieve its vision, execute its strategies and support businesses. GT F&BM provides information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and drive decisions.
- GT BM India supports the technology organization in India driving cross LoB technology wide practices and initiates. The primary responsibilities of the team include execution of GT vision, transformation and strategies; regional governance & reporting, and provide GT India wide risk and resiliency support. GT BM India team, being part of the Global Technology Business Management team, is and integral part of global cross LoB, cross regions business management team and drives multiple global initiatives and programs from India.
- GT BM India is a team of experienced professional driving technology transformation and Project Execution managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees and stakeholders throughout the firm.
- This team works closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs with broad scope and implications. GT BMs along with virtual teams establish a roadmap, and play an integral role in ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. The team fosters collaboration and promotes the values, culture of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Your roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive synergies and efficiencies across the technology organization locally and globally
- Play a central role in execution of programs that drive GT Vision, transformation and strategy.
- Perform regional governance and reporting
- Be point person for resiliency and regulatory interfaces
- Track all cross-impact partner teams and activities to ensure they are aligned with the plan
- Key management reporting and communications
- Organize and chair various working group and leadership meetings
- Manage issues, risks, accomplishments, milestones etc across the BM and PM workspace
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities in existing processes, procedures etc.
- Provide recommendations and problem resolutions
- Work with vendors and liaison with functional partners/stakeholders in organizing events (physical, virtual) across GT India
- Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence
Skill sets
- Experience in project / program coordination and management. Partner with global tech center managers, key LoB stakeholders and workstream leads to govern project scope and prioritization of initiative. Track all cross-impact partner teams to ensure they are aligned with the project plan.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Expertise working on presentations, data analysis
- Experience and expertise working across wider organization with virtual teams and working across hierarchies
- Key Stakeholder management and reporting across portfolio of initiatives
- (MUST) Expertise with MS Excel (Macros, formulae etc.), Power point presentations, SharePoint
- (good to have) any other BI tool like QlikView, Tableau etc.
- Attention to details is a must
- Self-starter, independently takes initiative in driving assignments to completion and solving problems without need for escalation
- Experience in working with multiple categories of vendors and event management agencies could help
- Experience working in technology organization / projects is preferred, but not a must
