Description : The Correspondent Channel purchases closed mortgage loans after origination. As part of the Transformation Team you will lead critical technology initiatives using Agile principles and methodologies.

The Correspondent Channel purchases closed mortgage loans after origination. Client satisfaction, efficiency, accuracy and timeliness are critical to the business success. The Correspondent Transformation Product Team is made up of three area products: Sales, Pricing and Purchasing Operations. This position resides in the Sales area product tower which supports client approval and onboarding, Point-of-Sales and the creation of new delivery methods. The position reports directly to the Area Product Manager. As part of the Transformation Team you will lead critical technology initiatives using Agile principles and methodologies.

Core Competencies :

Knowledge : Must have seasoned knowledge of the Mortgage Banking origination process and preference to those who have Agile and project management skills.

Organizational & Strategic thinking skills: Must be able to think strategically about new and existing processes and how they may impact our clients. Must be able to organize, plan and present solutions clearly to technology teams and business leaders.

Execution : Leverage business knowledge functional expertise and personal commitment to excellence to deliver results that meet the standards of quality, compliance, timeliness and the customer experience.

Communication : Share information, concepts and opinions with others that result in clear understanding and desired outcomes. Must be comfortable in articulating strategies and project updates to senior leaders.

Relationship Management : Leverage partnership skills and form lasting, positive working relationships working closely with other departments including Technology, Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Employee Readiness and the Policies and Procedures teams.

Flexible : Adapts well to changes in priorities and tasks assigned.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

- Lead initiatives designed to transform the loan delivery processes, client management and client experience to become more efficient and effective.

- Develop Agile stories in collaboration with business partners and technology engineers to enhance processes.

- Provide clear, concise and accurate written communications in multiple forms for use at Senior Manager and Executive levels.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years' experience in Mortgage Banking with strong knowledge of originations.

- Experience with business analysis, project management or data analysis preferred

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong skills with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word)

- Ability to work with strict deadlines and aggressive deliverables.

- Maintain the highest standards of honesty, fairness and ethics. May be exposed to confidential information.
