The CIB Ops Applied AI & ML program is responsible for identifying opportunities with business and operations partners where AI / ML solutions can be deployed across the organization to realize operational efficiency, enhance client service and improve the control environment. The CIB Ops Applied AI / ML Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for managing the overall portfolio of programs and projects to ensure we remain on target towards defined goals. The PMO supports the Data scientists with their deliveries, track progress against plan and manage the communication of project status to various stakeholders. To achieve this the PMO is responsible for developing the overall strategy in partnership with the leadership team, & track the total book of work under development, ensure adherence to the establish execution lifecycle and Firmwide Model governance control requirements. Role Description: The team is seeking a high performing Associate candidate for a PMO / Delivery Manager position based out of our Bangalore office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a broad range of PMO activities across the group, look for automation opportunities to constantly improve the way the PMO operates and additionally lead multiple projects initiatives. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to key Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives being implemented across D&PS and will require partnership with representatives from across the organization including Business, Finance, Data Scientists, Operations and Technology groups. Key responsibilities include: - Work in partnership with Program / Project managers and Data Scientist to help shape the strategic direction for the program. - Manage the delivery of projects using a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to ensure product features and capabilities are delivered on time and within budget. - Oversee the progress of projects through agile development methodology to assess status against the book of work to ensure they are progressing to plan. - Track progress against key milestones, issue, risks and dependencies and when required produce reporting to escalate 'show stoppers' to senior management for resolution. - Assist with the overall program governance and ownership of key messaging to stakeholders and senior management across the organization, via key Steering Committees and PCC's. - Develop presentations for senior management to convey key strategy and status updates to the business and operations. - Support development of a business intelligence framework by partnering with program managers to identify key metrics to track and report progress to plan. - Industrialize the automation of all reporting extracts from a single data source to ensure consistency across all reporting. - Define and maintain a standard set of project documentation / requirements and ensure compliance with established program management standards and audit requirements. - Manage and track the progress of projects through execution lifecycle to assess status against the book of work to ensure they are progressing to plan, address minimum control requirements and assist with 'road blocks' and issue resolution - Maintain the AI / ML inventories to demonstrate we have control of the population of solutions in production - Act as the single point of contact for all questions / queries related to the Applied Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning programs and provide coaching in support of defined operating model requirements - Develop and lead selected projects to improve the overall performance of the program Required Skills and Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a proven record of Project / Change management delivery and PMO leadership within a Financial Services environment. They must be able to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving and have excellent written and oral communication skills. The individual should be confident in dealing with staff at all levels, with a "can-do" personality to ensure issues get resolved and a strong sense of ownership. We work to fixed deadlines set both internally / externally so it is crucial that the candidate is able to work under pressure. Core Skills: - Over 5 to 8 years in Financial Services with minimum 3 years' experience with PMO skill set and tools - H ave a proven track record of Project / Change management delivery and PMO activities - Ability to oversee / manage a large portfolio of projects to maintain velocity and ensure targets are achieved - Previous exposure to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) that provides a structured approach to scaling agile software development - Proven experience in delivery management and scrum master roles to manage project delivery velocity - Superb understanding of project execution lifecycle, supporting documentation and control related requirements - Exposure to Intelligent Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions and the practical application in the business - Exceptional organizational skills, be able to prioritize demands/tasks based on priority level - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and capable of developing strong story boards to support senior management update - Strong level of proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, InfoPath, Project), specifically Excel and PowerPoint - A good understanding of collaboration and reporting tools (SharePoint, JIRA, other internal tools) The candidate should also possess the following attributes: - Self-starter who is creative with a 'can-do' attitude and strong work ethic - Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills - Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture - Strong risk and controls awareness - Ability to multitask and handle high stress while maintaining accuracy in tight deadlines - Ability to work with cross-functional global teams and interact with all staff levels JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
