Job Description:

Job Summary:

As an Executive Director within our Derivatives team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of private banking operations. Your expertise in derivatives products and strong operational experience will drive our success and enhance our service to clients. Job responsibilities:

- Be part of the Operations leadership team and act as a trusted advisor to the Wealth Management leadership team on all operational aspects.

- Work with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Finance, Project Management Office, Compliance, and Risk Management.

- Collaborate with business partners across various departments to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and improvements.

- Manage objective setting and performance management for team members.

- Develop team members through coaching, career progression, and training initiatives.

- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, third-party service providers, and regulators.

- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that the bank's operations remain competitive and compliant.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 20 years of experience in account management, client services, or a related role within the financial services industry.

- Strong experience leading banking operations teams, with a primary focus on private banking operations.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in process improvement and project management.

- Significant experience and understanding of derivatives products, including Over The Counter and listed derivative trades for all asset classes such as Foreign Exchange, equity, fixed-income, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, and commodities.

- Knowledge of the documentation framework.

- Experience with automation tools and technology solutions.

- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.

- Experience working in a global or multi-regional environment.
