About Media :
- The Media team is a top-tier media agency that markedly raises brand awareness and drives account profitability. Media is the bridge between the business and the consumer - guiding people to JPMC -owned and -produced media so they can begin or deepen their relationship with JPMC. The Media team collectively furthers JPMC as a brand and as a business through proficient media buying, commitment to brand safety and close cooperation with all Lines of Business (LOBs). Within the Media team, the Analyst will be placed on the Strategy & Insights team, supporting
Audience Management.
- The team provides a range of audience services that range from consulting, to audience creation and distribution, to managing audience platforms including the DMP (Adobe) and onboarding (LiveRamp) capabilities. The Audience team also manages our data processing and consulting resources from Acxiom for audience activation needs.
Job Description:
- This role supports the Sr. Associate, Audience Management in the creation and maintenance of firmwide campaign data collection in the Data Management Platform (DMP). The Analyst, Audience Management supports 3 key pillars:
- Strategic audience governance - enforce data prioritization pillars across agencies and lines of business
- Segment building and execution - deliver requested audiences to media platforms in a timely manner
- Internal Education - educate internal LOB stakeholders on ad tech landscape and JPMC tech stack
Key Responsibilities at a Glance
- On-board new data sources and partners to Adobe Audience Manager tool
- Configure Adobe Audience Manager as an admin
- Manage utilization of DMP and Data Onboarder - data volume and access management
- Manage DMP segment intake process and platform permissions
- Building DMP traits and segments using JPMC 1st party data and Adobe Analytics signals on web and app visitors
- Strategize with Channel Planning, buying teams, agencies and LOBs to drive their audience creation and activation effort and extract business value from Adobe Audience Manager
- Consult with Line of Business counterparts to vet data partnerships and customer list requests
- Identify, recommend and deliver operational efficiencies and high value audiences
- Deliver best practices and business & technical consulting where needed
- Manage expectations, keeping projects on schedule and within the scope
- Assist in-house buying teams and agencies implement audiences into their campaigns, perform quality checks to ensure that the implementation work has been completed successfully, and diagnose and solve technical issues when they arise
- Manage ongoing platform maintenance - mapping and un-mapping of audiences to media buying platforms and partners
- Create and deliver data exports to support campaign reporting
- Create and deliver of reports supporting DMP consumer insight reports
- Create and verify of Traits/ Segments based on batch file uploads
- Create and verify of Traits/ Segments based on Analytics signals coming from Chase.com and Mobile App
- Coordinate with mobile and Web developers on DMP tags implementation per environment
- Coordinate with Data and Analytics Audience Targeting team to troubleshoot data attributes
- Maintenance of DMP configuration: traits and segments management and folder taxonomy
- Create and maintain data collection and platform integrations supporting marketing and data science operations
- Coordinating with teams looking after other MarTech tools (Adobe Experience Cloud, Email, etc) for any activities that require DMP segments
- End-to-end management of audience distribution QC process
- Develop of training materials in the audience management knowledge hub
- Billing and reconciliation of third-party data fees incurred in-platform
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4+ years' experience in digital marketing; enterprise marketing software experience preferred
- Thorough working knowledge with minimum 2-4 years consulting and implementation experience on data management platforms (e.g. Salesforce Audience Studio, Adobe Audience Manager, Oracle BlueKai, Amobee, Google GCP + GMP, etc.) and/or Adobe Audience Manager
- Proficient understanding of AdTech ecosystems: marketers, agencies, digital marketing analytics providers, programmatic and adtech vendors (SSPs, DSPs, ad servers, DMPs, data aggregators)
- Basic understanding of data architecture, systems integration, and data flow of interconnected ecosystems such as CRM, data lake, DMP, DSP
- Hands-on digital marketing performance analytics experience a plus (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Understanding of audience personalization/segmentation strategies implemented in paid media campaigns
- Implementation knowledge of Adobe Target and Analytics a plus
- Hands-on programmatic marketing or paid media experience a plus (e.g., running, setting up, launching and performing any ongoing optimizations of paid media campaigns on Google, Facebook, DSPs, Ad Exchanges, etc.)
- Candidate should be detail-oriented, technically astute, and possess strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem solving and time management skills
- Experience in requirement gathering and interacting with off-shore partners
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work independently and in small groups
- Prior experience with tag management tools preferred
- Experience in developing high-level AdTech use cases and future-proof solutions
- Proficiency with Microsoft office is required and advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is desired
