- The WPO projects team focusses on delivery of key global projects for Wholesale Payments Operations driven out of India and Philippines. Our work is a blend of strategy, analysis, and project delivery.
- We seek candidates with a blend of leadership, interpersonal, project management & analytical skills for this role. The candidate selected will be responsible to deliver high impact projects. The role will require in-depth data exploration, data visualization, collaboration and execution with senior leaders.
Role Description:
The candidate joining will be expected to work on high-impact strategic initiatives with senior leadership visibility. The candidate will be required to deliver on opportunities/projects for large impact across Operational experience and transformation using a data driven approach.
- Plan, define and deliver Project scope, framework from Initiation through implementation
- Partner with business to identify areas for improvements and implementing initiatives
- Provide value added analytics, and reporting, including scorecards/dashboards and executive level reporting
- Conduct reviews with Leadership team/ Stakeholders to report on performance, discuss issues and propose solutions
Functional Responsibilities:
- Implement the project structure and governance required to deliver on the agreed strategy
- Plan, Track and Communicate project milestones, dependencies and risks to all audiences, incl. senior stakeholders
- Design, implement Reporting including regular executive reports, dashboards and data quality tools
- Ability to understand key drivers of the business and products
- Have a control mindset and be alert to issues/risks
- Manage assigned tasks independently with little or no supervision
Qualifications:
- 6+ years program/project management experience in banking/financial services
- Data visualization capabilities and experience with BI & Analytics tools (Qlik, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.) preferred
- Basic understanding of finance and proficient in data wrangling & visualization with ability to mine and analyze large, complex data set
- Proven Project Management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Team player with strong work ethic and ability to build relationships across global teams
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving, collaboration and presentation skills
