- The Candidate will be a part of the Change Management and Risk governance team responsible for keeping all heads of risk and individual business groups informed on SLAs, Reporting, Outstanding Payments and other key risk parameters.
- The Candidate will also be in charge of migrating new Clients to the Strategic Investment Accounting Platform.
- The Candidate should have prior experience in achieving transformation and resolving key issues in the process.
- Prior experience in Client on-Boarding, Stake holder Management, Data Analysis and Presentation, Reconcilliation, Migration / Transition Activities, Knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau is a must. The Candidate will also be managing teams of small size which will assist with the Client Onboarding Projects and post transition, will move to BAU Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of Income and Corporate Action Events
- Data Analysis between multiple databases with complex data sets
- Stakeholder management and reporting on the status of new Projects
- Analyze and raise queries pertaining to client accounting records
- Able to assist in resolving the team queries and act as a reference point for junior team members on technical, accounting, and audit-related matters
- Liaise with partner sites for external deliveries and communicate status effectively and in a timely manner to local management and partner sites
- Interact with stakeholders to respond to any accounting or financial reporting-related queries that may arise
- Recognize and act on opportunities to improve processes
- Ensure all the risk and control checks are adhered to for clients in portfolio
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Experience in Investment or Fund Accounting or Custody Operations
- Demonstrate teamwork and build internal relationships across locations with partner sites
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge and understanding of Financial Markets, Mutual Funds and Bloomberg
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
- Risk, control, and procedure oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Graduate / Post graduate with major in Finance/Accounting / Investment Banking is preferred
