As a senior leader, your proven judgment and decision-making ability as well energy as a culture carrier will be instrumental in driving transformation in the organization. While you will be part of a tight-knit management team who share your passion for technical leadership, you'll also gain access to the best minds at the tech centers as well as the Global Investment and Corporate banking business in APAC.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be part of the global management team
- Ensure that a deep understanding of our strategy, the problems it solves and the approach to solving them is well understood across the workforce of 60+
- Ensure strong communication and education is delivered to all levels - from management to developer.
- Drive recruitment ; focus on retention strategies & ensure high quality talent development in place locally
- Engender a culture of knowledge share, community and collaboration through all available communication mediums to mentor, coach and help the organisation achieve the organizational and individual goals.
- Be the senior Tech Lead supporting Rates businesses.
- Collaborate on the global stage, by participating in key forums.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders in strong partnership for their teams in India.
- Participate in setting and driving the technology strategic direction to better meet business needs
- Create or drive forums with key leaders as necessary to drive the tech center agenda.
Qualifications:
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Strong ability to influence at all levels, from senior management to developer, and the Business
- Strong software engineering background, ideally still a practitioner & believer in hands-on leadership vs "manager" roles
- Effective management and strong leadership skills used to build, grow and coach the team
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Good understanding of investment banking is a plus
