Job Description :
- Within an Agile framework, the Workflow Lead Product Owner (for India based headcount) works collaboratively with the development team and user groups across geographies to handle multiple, complex technology transformation projects.
- This lead role is responsible for managing a team of ~25 resources across Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager and Tester roles. This team is dedicated to supporting the Loans workflow and documentation technology used across wholesale lending services.
Responsibilities :
- Develop an organizational model that supports the primary responsibilities of the product owner organization, focused on stability, ongoing business hygiene and strategic business initiatives.
- Determine the right allocation of roles & responsibilities, capacity requirements to implement and sustain the strategic program objectives
- Lead the team in the implementation of a customer friendly, transparent and timely delivery model from intake through design process for day-to-day requests from end users.
- Building and maintaining a toolkit to evaluate, estimate, prioritize and communicate the pipeline and cycle time to address or deliver the appropriate solutions for the operations & market partners in an agile fashion.
- Establish working relationships and routinely interface with: project sponsors, business stakeholders, technology, Subject Matter Experts (SMES), and other functional partners to provide/complete required project documentation (process flows, gap analysis, procedures, etc.)
- Develops others in increasing levels of business and technical acumen in order to effectively bridge the gap between business and technology
- Establish and facilitate appropriate regular working meetings as required, develop presentations and shape messages in a manner effective for senior management and business presentation
- Monitor, track, and report on owned project deliverables through each stage of the project life cycle
- Identify and track risks and issues, and escalate as needed to management
Skills & Qualifications :
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
- 7+ years of previous change management program experience with proven success on a global scale
- 7+ years of prior experience managing large scale financial system projects / programs
- Previous experience & expertise and a true passion for process innovation, design, and digital technology with proven success delivering complex, large scale initiatives
- Demonstrated project management & leadership experience in financial services (including direct leadership of 15+ employee and management of multiple VP level resources)
- Agile/Scrum project management methodology experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), and delivery skills
- IT or technical experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in workflow led integration of work/processes - using tools like PEGA, OTM, ServiceNow etc
- Experience in workflow led programs in commercial lending space; such as Shared Mailbox integration, Document ingestion, Originations, Servicing (like Payments/Advances) etc.
- Experience in augmenting existing workflow with capabilities such as OCR, report ingestion, real-time digital cockpit, dashboards & reports, virtual assistant, training support through real-time instructions, workflow automation software etc.
