 This role is for an Associate in CCIC team, based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities:

- Build up subject matter expertise in and support a number of the following areas of CCIC work:

- Stress - Develop strong understanding of stress methodology and scenario definitions; Investigate/explain variances in stress exposures against counterparties; Validate monthly stress run results

- CCAR - Participate in CCAR and other regulatory stress testing exercises; Collaborate across global CCIC teams for shocks and stress run validations; Work with market risk and technology teams to ensure smooth scenario runs

- Contingent risk - Develop intuitive understanding of risk sensitivities; Application of contingent risk for various stress/exposure variance explains

- Infrastructure - Provide/explain business requirements to the technology team for development of stress and contingent risk infrastructure; Help design and execute various automated and manual controls for stress runs

- Wrong way risk - Investigate/confirm specific wrong way risk trades; Perform investigations on general wrong way risk moves

- International Capital - Validation/explains of Pillar 1 IMM capital calculations (EEPE); managing the Gauss runs for Pillar 2 and stressed capital; support for SA-CCR internationally (ex US); general capital support for JPM PLC and JPM AG

- Communicate effectively to multiple levels of management and various stakeholders in Credit Risk, Gauss, Credit Risk Technology, QR and Operations on control gaps, projects, automation of existing processes, issue resolutions etc. and provide recommendations.

- Close interaction and partnership with other areas of Credit Risk, both in primary locations and locally - Credit Officers, CRSM etc.

Essential skills, experience, and qualifications:

- Significant relevant experience of risk management or related discipline in a top tier peer bank

- Very strong quantitative and analytical skills, with at least degree level education

- Familiarity with derivative products, including understanding of risk aspects such as credit exposure or stress testing

- Excellent partnership and team management skills

- Strong organizational, control, project management, communication and negotiation skills

- Very detailed oriented; at the same time, being able to think holistically, creatively and critically
