Description :


- The Tax Specialist will be responsible for execution of the key business objectives, processes and managing business risks for key client/partner relationships across the Corporate & Investment Bank.

- This position is an opportunity for a suitably experienced candidate to join a dynamic organization and gain exposure to businesses and colleague's firmwide.

The successful candidates' key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

- Initiating tax reclaim applications on behalf of clients

- Working with partners in the UK to assemble supporting documentation requirements

- Updating the core processing applications with transaction statuses

- Updating and presenting key metric information to management

- Responding to enquiries from client-facing staff

- Ensuring 100% accuracy in processing daily deliverables

- Continually suggest improvements to enhance the process and reduce manual intervention

Qualifications :

- Graduate or PostGraduate with 3 to 6 years' experience in operations

- Ability to drive results through a \"hands-on\" approach

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization

- Skilled in MS office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access and Project

- Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one's own and team's work to achieve them

- Enthusiastic and articulate, possesses good communication skills

- Must be able to maintain and operate in an environment of high standards of risk and control

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with conflicting priorities

Desirables :

- Relevant Tax market knowledge or industry experience

- IOC, ATT or other industry related benchmark qualification
