JP Morgan Chase - Business Analysis & Reporting Analytics Role - CIB Markets

 DCO BAR Team: We own the MIS and regulatory reporting function for Global Derivative Operations & Futures/Options and Private Banking. As a centralized operations group, we cater to stakeholders across Back office and middle office to provide Operational risk metrics, performance and efficiency metrics, regulatory compliance reports and analytics. This is an exciting space for those who would love to work with data having an operations and business perceptive.

- It is a fast pace team constantly evolving its process to align with changes in reporting due to industry / regulatory changes, technology changes, internal management needs, and focus areas. The role provides opportunity to work with senior management across operation groups globally, project managers and our technology partners.

Summary of Responsibilities:

- Perform detailed analysis of source systems and data and should be able to model the data in QlikView

- Design, develop, and test QlikView scripts to import data from source systems and test QlikView dashboards to meet customer requirements

- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents, Create and maintain technical design documentation, Perform quality coding to business and technical specifications

- Design, create and tune physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support logical and dimensional models. Maintain referential integrity of the database

- Act as evangelist for BI benefits across the organization; promote BI usage to relevant departments

- Extracting, transforming and loading data from multiple sources into QlikView applications

Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in developing / architecting BI Solutions supporting financial, sales, and supply chain performance reporting

- Cumulative experience ranging between 4-6 years in the Business Reporting and QlikView domain

- Experience in sourcing data from disparate systems with a good understanding of their Data Models and ETL procedures

- Hands-on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in QlikView

- Strong knowledge on QlikView server architecture and building qvd's and qvw's applying business rules and data validations
