- The Investment Products Middle Office team supports the JPM GWM Investor Community - Bankers, Investors, Financial Advisors, Client Service, and Marketing teams by servicing the brokerage product trade flows and operations their clients invest in. The team also provides support for various functions across the GWM Middle Office, JPMS and to operations teams as well as the International Private Bank.

- The Trade Support Associate is responsible for various processes within the life cycle of a securities trade. The Trade Support Associate will be expected to work in a team environment supporting a variety of other areas within the firm such as Front Office, Supervisory Management, Trading Desks, Client Service, and Operations. 


- The space has a high degree of complexity and risk with market presence in over 40 countries with varying rules/requirements that make every transaction critical due to the potential financial exposure. The successful candidate will be required to quickly learn, understand and support as needed, the functions and services provided by the middle office team.

Core Responsibilities:

- Timely and accurate execution, validation, and verification of all trade instructions received by internal partners

- Support of multiple security types (e.g. equities, fixed income, listed options, foreign exchange) for both Domestic and International markets

- Review, Monitor and Action against daily fail reports and daily break items

- Process and assure completeness of cancellation and correction requests

- Prioritize workloads with daily and hourly deadlines

- Respond promptly and accurately to front office, trade desk, operations and client service requests

- Produce high quality performance and accuracy to best meet our client's needs and expectations

- Ensure adherence to all service level commitments, process controls, and escalation policies

- Work closely with teammates to maximize efficiency

- Proactively focus on issues and adjust rapidly to changes in the team, the market, or Wealth Mgmt to deliver sound recommendations for process improvement

- Assist and or lead projects within the team

- Participate in Wealth Mgmt initiatives (e.g. systems conversions)

Internal Qualifications :

TENURE : At least 12 months in current job and process.

PERFORMANCE : Satisfactory or a rating of "Meets Expectations" or higher on most recent annual performance review

PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PLAN : Not in any Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

Required Experience/Skills:

- Ability to work in, and manage work loads in high pressure and deadline driven situations

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to assist in resolving issues and complex inquiries

- Outstanding professional communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy

- College degree or equivalent financial services/banking industry experience

- Experience in workflow analysis and documentation

Preferred Experience/Skills:

- Series 7 and 63 licenses

- Knowledge of securities industry and back office operations (e.g. options, equities, fixed income, physicals, custody services, etc.)

- Microsoft Suite of applications proficiency

- Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, control, and efficiency
