Risk-Consumer & Community Banking-Strategic Analytics(SWAT)-Associate

Job Description :

Role Responsibilities :

- Use modern data science and classical statistical techniques on external data sources to develop and enhance risk strategies

- Write computer programming code in R, SAS, Python, and/or Scala to perform statistical analyses and develop machine learning solutions to business problems

- Identify key risk indicators and metrics, develop key metrics, enhance reporting and formulate areas of analytic focus to better capture and manage credit quality

- Write summary documentation of analyses performed for both technical and non-technical audiences within the firm

- Present results to peers and higher levels of management

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree, ideally in Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Science, or related disciplines.

- 5+ years of experience operating as an analytics professional in the Credit Risk Consumer Lending business

- Strong technical skills: Python is required; Experience with R, SAS, and SQL is also preferred

- Ability to design, execute and interpret statistical analyses to drive insights and credit risk strategy in a consumer lending business

- Leverage creative analytical problem solving skills while using large data sets from a broad range of sources

- Self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team setting
