Merchant Services is the global payment processing business for JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Merchant Services is investing in a global leadership position in the rapidly evolving payments landscape with an aggressive transformation agenda under the name of Helix. This multi-year, firm-wide strategy will build customer-centric payments solutions for business clients. It's a unique opportunity to build a modern product suite on a cloud-based, API First, big data platform at an enterprise scale. In addition, the agile operating model will co-locate product owners, designers, and engineers to rapidly bring-to-market new product features. As a result, this transformation team will leverage the power of the firm to help clients expand globally with speed, efficiency, and innovation.
The Product Manager - Payments & Interchange will build a roadmap and follow through on execution with technology partners that focuses on suite of APIs and services that can help merchants to
Process payments from their customers easily using multiple payment methods
Protect their business accepting multiple methods of payments globally, while being scalable and easy to consume
Understand Interchange as it applies to the different payment brands and track payment brand bulletin
The JPMorgan acquiring services are enabled and consumed via a comprehensive developer portal, alongside other related APIs from across JPMChase.
The client experience of doing business with Merchant Services rests largely with ease to use services, and simple integrations. Engage with clients to ensure we're delivering valuable services and collaborate with technology to deliver capabilities.

Responsibilities :
- Design and build application interfaces that meet customer needs, delivered through a firm wide developer portal.
- Development of new APIs to continually enhance the client experience and create business opportunities
- Ensure completeness and quality of services delivered in a scalable fashion, working with Product Owners in other areas for a cohesive client experience.
- Supporting artefacts for easy consumption, including documentation, automated testing, use cases and examples
- Contribute to the financial success of product outcome, involved in pricing strategy for product/services.
- Support for internal teams for products covered, including training and artefacts
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
- Passion for delivering business value by creating excellent connectivity products
- Extensive experience in working with APIs
- Strong background in payments including acquiring/acceptance/payment processing and/or digital payments
- Talent for communication of complex business topics
- Demonstrated ability to drive business results while meeting strict controls and compliance requirements
- Ability to drive continuous improvement through an agile framework
- Experience participating in agile delivery
- Knowledge in payment tokenization solutions
- Knowledge in fraud detection solutions and strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive and proactive
- Excellent time management and prioritization skill

- Experience of scalable federated development platforms
- Interest in User Experience and Design Thinking
- Experience in writing and executing Agile stories
