Commercial Banking (CB) serves more than 30,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. The Firm's broad platform positions the Commercial Bank to deliver extensive product capabilities - lending, treasury services, investment banking, and asset management - to meet our clients' domestic and international financial needs.
Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking and provides loan servicing functions to all four JPMorgan lines of business. These functions include loan documentation, closing and funding, payment and fee processing, syndication loan and trade processing, credit administration and collateral perfection and management. This role resides within WLS Operations Risk and Control and supports the team's responsibility for ensuring effective implementation of the operational risk framework across the function, as well as providing advisory support on matters related to operational risk management. This position collaborates and partners with the WLS management team, the CB Controls Group and other functional support groups (Compliance, Audit, Finance, etc.) to develop and drive operational risk and controls strategy and to ensure that operational risks and issues are appropriately identified, escalated and mitigated.
Description:
- The key focus of the Control Automations Associate is to develop solutions to automate Control processes and leading Lob level stakeholder engagements and management of Control Automation projects
- Product Manager takes responsibility and accountability for delivering all elements of a series of projects/ Automation Solutions - associated with Planning, Requirement gathering, Development, Delivery, reporting, compliance documentation and meeting the audit needs
Key Tasks Include:
- Establishing a working relationship with stakeholders
- Understand Control Landscape and develop sustainable solutions
- Perform control process reviews and performs automation feasibility assessment
- Work with Manager/Project manager and develop project plan
- Develop and deliver Automation solution as planned
- Monitor Project Progress and Set Deadlines
- Resolve Issues That Arise, escalate to management when needed
- Reporting - create EMR decks and ensure availability of all project related data for timely management reviews
- Assist business in completing solution documentations / registry of solutions as per firmwide policies
- Liaise with Business analysts and Developers close action items /conditions raised as part of documentation & approval process
- Track and Follow up with approvers/ Risk leads and seek necessary approvals on the projects
- Assist business in annual attestation of UT, IS and other program requirements
- Provide weekly status update to business stakeholders
- Drive change management related to ongoing maintenance of delivered automation projects
- Contribute in process improvement and control initiatives
Job Requirements:
Skill sets:
- Alteryx and UiPath solution development - Must have recognized certifications with 2+ Years of hands on experience or 6+ Years Hands on working experience developing solutions using Alteryx/ UiPath
- Ability to develop codes / Data processing using Python and R Studio will be added advantage
Education/Professional Qualifications & Skill sets:
- B.Tech/Bcom/BBA with 8+ years / M tech/Graduate or Post-Graduate with 6+ years' experience in Automations development
- Candidates will preferably have a recognized project management qualification, e.g. Prince II,PMI - if not they must be able to demonstrate use of structured approach and methods / use of appropriate tools
- Familiarity with a global bank's process & operational risk management environment including Operations management and external reporting is a must. Strong business knowledge i.e. Investment Banking, Retail & Commercial business including product, process and system knowledge.
- Experienced in consulting with project stakeholders, including the skills to facilitate compromises and resolve conflicting requirements. Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, a client service philosophy, and the ability to build and foster internal relationships
- Good project/programme management experience in operations environment. Might perhaps have experience managing large location strategy initiatives or programmes.
- Candidates must have had responsibility for people and process elements, ideally a business project manager, who understands human change elements implicit in project delivery.
- Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one's own work to achieve them
