Associate - Market Operations - FX Product Development - CIB
The Wholesale Payments FX Product Development organization is responsible for scaling and integrating FX payments platforms across Commercial Banking and the Corporate and Investment Bank. We define the product strategy, segment clients and package solutions, determine the end-to-end delivery strategy, manage product launches, and enable the sales teams. Key responsibilities include product development, execution, internal communications management and delivery, timely and succinct reporting of key initiatives, data analysis, and project management support with the goal of ensuring effective end-to-end execution.

Responsibilities :
Associate - FX Product Analyst comes with a responsibility for supporting our payment partner network expansion that will enable bank to connect with local ACH, RTGS, mobile disbursements, digital wallets etc. This will help various lines of businesses of the bank like CIB (Corporate Investment Bank), Consumer and Commercial Bank to process their global payments in the most efficient manner. The FX Product Analyst will focus on the execution of integration with the payment partner(s).
In addition, the FX Product Analyst will support the commercialization activities associated with launching new product capabilities in the market. Success in the role will require strong partnership, collaboration and engagement with Client facing teams, other Product areas, Sourcing, Risk, Technology, Compliance and Legal.
- Build the payments distribution network through internal channels, banks, payment service processors and other available channels.
- Liaison with local regulators and policy makers, develop a deep understanding of local regulations, reporting requirements and seek necessary approvals, as and when required
- Develop a deep understanding of local clearing networks, mechanics behind new disbursement methods like mobile and digital wallets and devise efficient and varied methods of disbursements in the geography.
- Anticipate internal and external factors impacting the Low value cross border payments business regionally and implementing plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Have a firm grip on competition and industry initiatives by developing local market knowledge and participating in industry events and seminars.
Qualifications :
- You will be able to demonstrate your understanding of different payment networks/clearing systems and channels preferably in cross border payments business
- You will be able to give examples of presentation and influencing skills with key decision makers and c-suite customers
- Extensive treasury management banking, payments channel or network management experience and knowledge of domestic clearing systems of International geographies a plus.
- Experience with and/or prior collaboration with Sales, Technology and Compliance
- Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
- Superior negotiation and communication skills, can sell self and ideas
- Ability to proactively distribute thought expertise
- Presentation skills - making and delivering presentations to a varied audience
- Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
- Proficient in MS Office suite of applications
