- You would be responsible for providing, in respect of the funds' legal and regulatory documentation, strategic oversight, administration, maintenance and quality control.


- You will advise on regulatory issues from time to time.

Job Responsibilities :

- Provide strategic oversight and control of all funds' legal and regulatory documentation to help ensure JP Morgan Asset Management has market leading documentation.

- Managing and coordinating updates to the funds' legal and regulatory documentation in an efficient and controlled manner that mitigates risks of errors.

- Providing advice and assistance on regulatory issues.

- Working as necessary with relevant Product Documentation Specialist, liaise with the external lawyers and Depositary/Trustee of UK OEIC and Charity funds.

- Lead the application for regulatory approval of prospectus changes and new funds liaising as necessary with relevant Product Documentation Specialists.

- Thinking laterally and globally on the possible impact of product changes to different areas of the business; communicating to all to create involvement and dialogue.

- An important aspect of the role is developing and maintaining relationships with amongst others, investment desks, risk and compliance departments, internal and external legal counsel, and distribution.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :

- 6-7 years experience in the asset management industry with particular expertise in the development and delivery of investment management product documentation, which should include UCITS products.

- Experience of managing multiple projects within a large, highly complex, cross-functional environment.

- Client focused mindset, with a commitment to integrity, fairness and responsibility.

- Credibility and proven ability to engage with stakeholders and develop partnerships across the business at all levels. This should include influencing and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to articulate complex ideas, concepts, and solutions at a level appropriate and intelligible to the recipient.

- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills which can be competently utilised to manage a large range of documents.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills :

- Good technical knowledge of the UCITS environment, in particular with respect to UCITS products which use derivatives for investment purposes

- A good understanding of the Pan-European asset management industry

- Broad understanding of financial instruments used in investment management products
