This role is part of the USWM Planning and Analysis team.
Position Overview:
This position will be an Associate (601) who would be working very closely with the Planning and Analysis team in US. The role will involve responsibilities around management reporting and analysis relating to USWM organization.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and with very strong communication skills. Candidates should have a strong sense of curiosity to understand the business and relate their understanding to movements on the PnL and delivering these reports to various finance leaders. The role will also include responsibilities to handle adhoc requests relating to P&L Analysis, Products summary, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the US Wealth Management CFO and her team as well as other leaders to develop and produce key management reports for the group including monthly EMRs, fact pack, headcount reports and other performance tracking reports
- Produce Month close review material with suitable commentary for discussions with the CFO and her leadershuip team.
- Understand accounting processes for various expense line items and identify improvement opportunities for better classification of expenses to facilitate analysis and reporting
- Handle adhoc reporting requests coming from Senior Leaders in the group.
- Actively look at opportunities to automate reports through Dashboards in collaboration with Dashboarding teams.
- Prepare analysis and presentation materials for key senior management forums.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to support deliverables independently with minimal supervision and guidance
CA, CWA, MBA with 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial planning, business finance roles
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to understand expectations and deliver effectively.
- Strong sense of curiosity to learn about the business and understand how key business decisions influence the PnL.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications
- Strong technical skills including advanced excel, power point and MS Access. Essbase knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively on common projects
