You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Financial Modeling and Analysis . You have found the right team. As the Financial Modelling Professional in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
You will be part of the Deposit Revenue Finance team and will be supporting financial modeling and data analysis for NIR line items within the Revenue Finance team of Consumer Banking, with end-to-end ownership of the process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models for Deposit business products to support business planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial data and trends to enhance models and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with FP&A teams to gather relevant product or strategy changes for financial modeling.
- Document model development processes, methodologies, and assumptions in a clear and comprehensive manner.
- Perform model validation and back-testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct monthly data validations for modeling input and quarterly model performance reviews for the model governance team.
- Prepare detailed model performance reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in quantitative modeling.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience of minimum 3 years in model development, quantitative analysis, or a related role.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or SAS.
- Proficiency in statistical and mathematical modeling techniques.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience of Python, SAS, SQL and Model building
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
- SA Master's degree or Ph.D. is a plus.
