Description:


The successful candidate will be working on strategic transformation and data analytics projects as part of Markets Operations Transformation. The role requires understanding of all phases of project life cycle across the Markets business E2E stack and, entails working as data analyst with advanced proficiency on data analytics tools. This role provides an opportunity to work in large scale transformation programs with an exposure to multiple products and business lines.

Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze large data sets and implement end-to-end data analytics process (data sourcing, transformation, patterning etc.) to generate actionable insights supporting the large-scale transformation programs

- Perform data-driven business analysis for increasing STP, eliminating fails/exceptions and enhancing controls for the business (across trade life cycle)

- Communicate clearly and effectively on both technical and business level

- Develop and maintain best practices and standards for data management, analysis, and visualization

- Identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions both strategic and tactical based on analysis backed by data

- Maintain and build excellent relationships across Market Operations Transformation & other stakeholders (operations, technology, product teams, reporting etc

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

- Bachelor's degree (technology) with overall 4-6 years of techno-functional experience (MBA preferred)

- Expert knowledge of Alteryx and intermediate knowledge of tableau, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

- Having knowledge of Broadridge (IMPACT) application is a significant positive for this role

- Strong Data Analytics skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

- Effective problem solving skills with ability to translate data into clear actionable insights using compelling data story-telling & visualizations

- Knowledge of Markets (Fixed Income, Foreign exchange, Derivatives, Equities) business and familiarity with Investment banking and related business functions

- Ability to support & adapt within a changing environment (matrix and global cross functional team structure)

- Possesses owner mindset with a proactive approach and strong interpersonal & influencing skills
