- Commercial Bank (CB) Global Liquidity & Revenue Management Analytics team is globally responsible for the management of the Commercial Bank's deposit portfolio and analysis of the liquidity and investment products that support the portfolio.
- The Global Liquidity Analytics function broadly focuses on the management of client and portfolio deposit pricing, profitability and returns, presentation of complex liquidity deals and investment management expertise to clients and bankers, identification of emerging client requirements, management of segment initiatives and regular portfolio reviews with key stakeholders to drive financial results.
- Commercial Banking provides the complete product offering of JPMorgan Chase, including lending, treasury services, investment banking and investment management to corporations, financial institutions, municipalities, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion.
- This position reports to the CB Global Liquidity Analytics Manager and will support the CFO function providing financial insight, assessing market impacts on performance and tracking progress of strategic initiatives. The incumbent is expected to have forward looking mindset along with the below:
Responsibilities include :
- Develop internal reporting package and metrics, create presentations and communication for executive management.
- Help to create monthly executive management package highlighting financials and strategies for business line
- Build financial review pages for quarterly business reviews for senior management meeting/discussion
- Monitor product performance on monthly basis, provide in depth variance analysis and business outlook to senior leaders
- Provide weekly and monthly management reporting on the deposit portfolio such as balance trending, market rates and pricing, exception reporting, and segment level portfolio overviews.
- Design and build new reports that provide management with information on product performance, portfolio insights, product pricing, and other key KPI's highlighting business/segment performance
- Help execute and drive strategic projects designed to enhance deposit portfolio management capabilities and smart decision making across the deposit book.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis around various business subject matter, provide valuable data driven insight to facilitate business decision making
- Work with LOB owners and functional leader to ensure delivery of expected financial results, with product performance KPIs
- Liaise with controllers in case of discrepancies and detail understanding of actuals
- Take responsibility and accountability for robust quality control and standards
- Ad hoc projects/task as requested
Competencies :
- 4 to 8 years' experience in finance or wholesale transactional banking products preferred
- Strong financial modeling, analytical and spreadsheet skills
- Strong strategic, communication and presentation skills - has understanding of cracking a problem statement and explaining it to the team/ working independently, such that outcome can achieved quickly
- Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting capability with quick turnaround
- Expert control on the hefty Excels related to data extraction, consolidation and report finalization. This involves extraction of data from various tools/systems and alignment of the information as per business need to draw insights and present facts to senior management
- Work well with cross-functional partners and in a matrix environment.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-pace environment
- High on general knowledge and an interest in staying tuned with global events & developments
- Curious, energetic and highly proactive in nature and always focusing on opportunity arising from situations

- Proactive approach to identifying and solving problems and ability to consider multiple dimensions of an issue
Educational Qualifications :
- CA/CFA/MBA - Finance (having an economics background will be an added advantage)
- B.Tech/B.Com/Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or accounting preferred.
- In-depth knowledge in Excel and BI Tools.
- Programming language like R, SQL preferred
- Exposure to System & Tools like - Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik sense, Statistical modelling would be preferred
