The position is within the Capital Management and Strategy department of Finance. The group is a service-orientated business comprised of specialised individuals with knowledge and expertise in understanding, managing and delivering Legal Entity Strategy and Capital Management related functions. The group is also dedicated to adding value and improving efficiency, quality and controls.
Core responsibilities of the Capital Management and Strategy Team
- Legal Entity Strategy - Impact to Capital
- Capital forecasting and Management
- ICCAP
- Partnership with other Finance areas with other reporting requirements
Responsibilities:
- BAU monthly and quarterly deliverables for key UK entities
- Capital projections and Reporting
- Risk appetite statements
- Monthly/Quarterly reconciliations and data cleansing to ensure integrity of reported numbers.
- Internal/External reporting deliverables
Skills
- Chartered Accountant / MBA with 5+ years experience preferably with financial services industry, with Capital forecasting and ICAAP experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
- Self motivated that is able to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong in Microsoft Office - Excel, Access, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint
