What to expect:

JP Morgan Financial Reporting Team manages the production and review of annual and interim financial statements for a wide range of hedge and mutual fund clients. This Financial Reporting Team take direct responsibility for the production, review and delivery of financial statements of and related accounting/portfolio information for key clients. This role involves participation in the production and review from a detailed and quality perspective of both statutory and regulatory reports.

About you:

We're looking for highly-driven individuals with an interest in working in financial services and at JPMorgan Chase. Your roles & responsibilities will include:

- Assist senior management with talent retention and development as well as capacity and resiliency management of the team.

- Assume responsibility for the oversight and governance of the daily activities within the team.

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all deliverables on the Depositary Records to the highest individual and team standards and in accordance with the applicable procedures, policies, checklists

- Ensuring the completeness and timeliness of reporting to clients and internal departments

- Assigning responsibilities and ensuring an efficient work environment

- Reviewing end of day packages and taking prompt action to resolve any escalated exceptions

- Ensure immediate and appropriate escalation to impacted parties and management where deliverables cannot be realized.

- Ensure adherence to internal procedure & controls to ensure a four eyes principle is applied at all times.

- Ensure all queries are responded to and resolved by team in professional and timely manner ensuring the highest levels of client service are achieved.

- Take responsibility for the creation and maintenance of process documentation such as SOP, SLA, Controls documents and process improvement documents.

- Take responsibility for the timely and accurate compilation of departmental KPIs to corporate standards.

- Proactively engage in and or lead internal projects and testing as required.

- Facilitate the completion of regular and ad-hoc client, investor and regulatory reporting requirements in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

- Pro-actively conduct a thorough investigation and analysis of relevant data for the speedy resolution of client queries.

- Keen awareness of and adherence to audit requirements and experience of liaising with auditors.

- Act as primary point of contact for onshore partners and has ability to influence key stakeholders.

- Active participation in JPMorgan Performance Management and Staff development programs.

- Proactively identify opportunities for automations leading to elimination of manual process thereby creating efficient and scalable operations.

About your experience:

The candidate should have 8-10 years or more experience in Financial Services Industry, with preferably 3-5 years in Depositary Services / Fund Accounting / Financial Reporting / Performance & Analytics The candidate should ideally have experience in management of a team of more than 6 people

About your skills & qualifications:

- You will have 8+ years' experience in Financial Services Industry, with preferably 3-5 years in Depositary Services / Fund Accounting / Financial Reporting / Performance & Analytics

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written within the team and across Internal and External teams.

- Strong team player with solid and effective interpersonal skills.

- Self-starter with ability to work and prioritize on own initiative and to grasp new concepts quickly.

- Proactive in identifying and escalation of potential areas of risk with view to minimization of key risk areas.

- Sound analytical, logical and problem solving skills.

- Flexibility in multi-tasking within and across teams within a challenging deadline and volume driven environment.

- Project management experience in planning, executing, and maintaining a project from start to finish.

- Assume accountability through willingness to take ownership and responsibility for team performance and goals.

- Ability to embrace change and foster environment of continuous improvement to attain greater efficiencies and increases automation of processes.

- Has proven motivation and team building skills

- 5+ years of people management expertise.

- Sound knowledge of life cycle of the financial instruments

- Highly PC literate ideally with extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook or similar email program and PowerPoint.

- Fluency in English written and spoken.
