Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled data engineer to join our analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support the data-driven decision-making process of the company. The ideal candidate should be an expert in SQL, Alteryx, and Python and have 5-9 years of relevant experience in data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform data cleansing, aggregation, and transformation as needed. Design, develop and maintain our data pipelines and infrastructure

- Work closely with the analytics team to ensure data quality and accuracy. Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement new data sources

- Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Alteryx and other tools

- Write complex SQL queries to analyze data and produce reports

- Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards

- Design and implement data security and privacy policies

- Monitor data usage and performance to identify and resolve issues

Job Requirements:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

- 5-9 years of experience in data management or a related field

- Expert-level knowledge of advanced SQL, Alteryx, and Python

- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or QlikView

- Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, or Snowflake

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Experience in wrangling large, complex datasets, strong database skills and ability to write, optimize and tune complex SQL scripts

Bonus points if you:

- Previously worked in an insights function at a financial services firm, consulting firm, or a marketing agency

- Have a strong grasp of big data disciplines, Agile (scrum) methodologies, and new technologies

- Are proficient with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
