JP Morgan Chase - Analyst/Team Leader - Trade Support - AWM

Transaction initiation and Settlements of Fixed Income and Equity deals for US Domestic and Global markets.

- Delivering and Receiving shares Free of Payment

- Follow up with the Custodian / Counterparty for the Failed Trades or Unmatched exceptions

- Monitoring and repairing of STP Rejects.

- Looking at the Pre matched report and settled deals report

- Following up with internal / external counterparty for un affirmed trades

- Do account allocation - moving securities from Domestic account to EURO CLEAR account

- Handle cross border trades and handle queries

- Coordinate with various Trade Support teams and the Middle Office team

Qualifications:

- College Degree

- 4 to 6 years of Banking / Cash Product / Securities / Processing experience in financial services environment.

- This role requires meticulous attention to detail.

- Ability to manage operations in absence of PM.

- An acute awareness of the high risk, time critical and complex nature of the Asset management OPS environment, an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential.

- Flexible to work overtime, night shift and on holidays

- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

- A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through

- Client focused and Client engagement

- Good time management skills

- Uses initiative & readily questions

- Must be very detailed oriented.

- Excellent written & spoken English communication skills.

- An appreciation of control and quality issues.

- Knowledge of Investment products.

- Knowledge of the operating and compliance standards and audit requirements of the department

- Banking Operations experience required, Private Banking operations experience would be beneficial.
