Team Description:


The Sales Support function is an integral part of the Asset Management Distribution group. The analyst will be responsible in providing a fully integrated centre of relationship intelligence, connecting all touch points across the client lifecycle - to help drive sales performance and deliver a purposeful client experience.


The India Sales Support team works closely with client advisors, internal client advisors, business development advisors and global sales support teams to help facilitate the process. The role also requires coordinating with various internal teams (Client Service, Marketing, Product Specialists, Finance, MIS/Business Intelligence and Technology) to be able to provide holistic coverage across the cycle. This may also include supporting the preparation of information and reporting requirements for senior management meetings and providing support for key multi-channel/multinational clients.


Job Description-

We are looking for a candidate to join our UK Retail and Wealth Management Sales Support Team. The individual will provide support for all facets of the sales, business development, relationship management and retention process:


- Gain an understanding of the sales process to better align requirements to the changing business scenarios


- Understand client trends and industry developments where required


- Understand current / new client relationships and assist in client review presentations / strategy meets / business reviews


- Proactive and engaged with designated Client Advisors and Internal Client Advisors, managing daily requests


- Coordinate and oversee key client Fund Panel Reviews, completing follow up requests when required


- Prepare presentations for sales pitches, request and oversee RFP/DDQ requests


- Dealing with and responding to day to day Operational/General/Fund enquiries from both Internal and External clients


- Responsible for regular regional/pod meetings/communication, along with other key internal meetings


- Oversee the coordination and provision of material for key client meetings/events with JPM Investment Specialists where appropriate, potentially attending relevant client meetings, client conference calls, completing follow up where required


- Assist with post event follow up calls where required


- Understand the regulatory and compliance framework for selling JPM Investment Products to the UK market, including KYC/KYD Requirements


- On-boarding and oversight of new clients through the relevant due diligence and AML processes, along with completion of SDDQ refresh (BAU) items


- Maintenance of client /internal information in the CRM tool, various databases, systems and applications to enable effective transition of roles and responsibilities across the sales cycle and assist in data analysis to help make informed decisions.


- Responsibility to adhere and be aware of the relevant procedural requirements within the role


Qualifications:


- MBA/CFA is a plus. Tertiary qualification in Economics, Finance or other related discipline


- Relevant industry experience and knowledge of sales process, investment offering (open and closed ended), including Alternative products, client on-boarding & operational processes


- Strong Quantitative and analytical skillsets


- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills


- Proficiency in MS Office product suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) required


- Experience working with an industry recognized CRM platform (Salesforce knowledge is a plus) and data mining tools (Python, SQL, BO, etc.) is desirable


Skills:


- Understanding of Asset Management business (Investment Management, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, and/or Separate Accounts) preferable


- Client focused and experience of managing client queries, escalate where appropriate


- Ability to delve into details with a view to proactively solve issues, develop new ideas and add value to existing functions


- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities/workflows


- Proven ability to quickly learn the business, the application and adapt to ever changing priorities


- Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail


- Self-motivated, team player with strong work ethic


- Good communicator with ability to build relationships across global teams


- Team player, takes initiative to pre-empt what may be needed and required


- Strong organizational skills, effective planning and time management skills to meet strict deadlines or changing priorities (able to self-prioritize and set expectations of others accordingly)
