Internal Description

- Support and supervise BAU activities of the team - Maintenance of instrument reference data in multiple business applications/databases, Monitoring Requests Queue.

- Should be hands on with the process and systems; should provide daily BAU support

- Devise and Conduct pro active verification checks to ensure that processing is done of expected quality

- Prioritize & manage project request in conjunction with BAU.

- Conduct weekly meetings with the team (across locations) for regular communication, eliciting issues, etc.

- Metrics - Ensure Metrics are captured accurately by the team. Review daily metrics; provide weekly performance metrics/capacity analysis.

- Ensure timely updation of SOPs, Issue Logs, Conduct "Best Practice Sharing Sessions"

- Take ownership of on the job training for TMs and OAs; regular review of progress and initiate actions to close gaps, if any

- Partner on Data Quality initiatives & UAT testing.

- Perform Business Continuity UATs and work closely on New Business Initiatives

Qualifications - Internal

- College Degree, 4-5 years of Accounting / Banking / Cash Product / Securities Processing experience in financial services environment.

- Good knowledge of F&O, Equities, Fixed Income instrument reference data. Also, experience in supporting these asset classes in a Middle office functions would be a value add.

- Should have hands on approach

- Knowledge of external reference data providers -BLOOMBERG, REUTERS, etc. will be an advantage

- Good people skills and ability to drive energy levels within the team

- Good time management skills and highly result oriented.

- Focus on quality and controlled environment.

- Attention to detail.

- A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through.

- Client focused and able to deliver on complex tasks.

- Drives initiative within the team and can motivate and direct the team in the right direction.

- Good written & spoken English communication skills
