Senior Deputy General Manager - Accounts


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

- Oversee financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and developing long-term strategies that align with Josts Engineering's business objectives.

- Provide insights into industry trends, financial risks, and opportunities to inform executive decision-making.

- Lead cost-management initiatives, focusing on efficient allocation of resources and improving profitability.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and relevant regulations.

- Oversee compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, corporate tax filings, and other regulatory obligations.

- Implement and maintain financial policies, controls, and audits to safeguard company assets and ensure transparency.

Operational Financial Management

- Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to manage inventory, control costs, and enhance financial efficiency across the company's operations.

- Supervise cash flow management, capital expenditures, and working capital to ensure liquidity and support growth.

- Develop robust financial models and forecasts to evaluate performance and support strategic initiatives.

Capital Management and Fundraising:

- Manage the capital structure and relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.

- Lead capital-raising initiatives as required, including debt and equity financing, to support company expansion.

- Drive investor relations and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.

Leadership and Team Development:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

- Participate actively in executive and board meetings, providing insights on financial performance and business strategy.

- Support cross-functional teams by delivering financial insights and recommendations to optimize performance across departments.

Qualifications:

Education: CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification is Must. Additional certifications like CMA or MBA are advantageous.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of finance experience, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role within manufacturing or engineering industries.

Skills:

- Comprehensive knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, and compliance regulations.

- Expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting, and capital management.

- Experience in capital fundraising and managing banking relationships.

- Proficiency with ERP and financial management software.

- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
