JOB DESCRIPTION FOR KEY ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE / AREA RETAIL EXECUTIVE

I. POSITION TITLE: Key Accounts Executive/ Area Retail Executive

II. SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Key Accounts Executive is responsible for developing Key accounts through generation of new businesses in format stores, Client management, and delivering sales as per the targets and reporting the same to the management towards meeting the overall revenue numbers.

III. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

- The Key Account Executive reports directly to National Sales Manager - Key Accounts.

- The Executive works closely with the following titles in the different departments:

a. For day-to-day activities & Reporting to NSM

b. Interaction with Comfort Specialists for store status, stock status, Sales status etc.

c. With Marketing Department for installations of marketing materials

d. With Key Accounts / Format store managers for daily Sales, stock replenishments, payment follow-ups and regular feedback,

IV. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Visual Merchandising

- Display and housekeeping: Ensure That Jockey products are well displayed and fixtures are neatly maintained.

- Stock Health; maintaining healthy stock levels on floor in different size and assortment ratios.

- Grooming the Comfort Specialist team ; identify and harness potential to perform

- Marketing and Sales Initiatives

- SOH Implementation ; identify and implement SOH options within the format store location

- Handle Customized module requests and increase floor space; increase floor space at the stores by identifying installation possibilities of customized modules.

- Business Development; Identify new key accounts, and initiate sales processes.

- Team Management

- CS Reporting; utilization of manpower and ensure efficiency in reporting

- Client Management; Maintain cordial relationship with Key Account Staff

- Reporting

- Prepare reports on Account wise Sales Analysis and new style launch reports

- Reports on Account wise order vs. dispatch track sheet

- Prepare list of SOH installed / SOH Inventory

- CS Activity Report

- Monthly Activity Report

V. JOB KNOWLEDGE:

- Education and Experience - Graduate / MBA Fresher with atleast 3 years of relevant experience, in an FMCG or Apparel industry in the Sales Field, especially in management of Key accounts / Modern formats / organized Retail.
