Jocata Financial Advisory and Technology is an innovative products and services firm specializing in digital transformation, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) compliance for financial services industry clients. The company was founded by professionals from the Big Four firms with a goal to offer clients a complete solution, both in terms of a technology platform and in-depth subject matter expertise. Our aim is to help financial institutions in minimizing financial risks, operational risks and to protect their organizations from financial crimes, money laundering and other illegal financial transactions. Ours is an IT based company founded six years ago and is based out of Hyderabad.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to help plan, design, program, test and implement client projects. These projects can range from helping a client implement a new software system, to assessing the performance of a particular service or product line.

Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze customer processes, document their salient features to suggest improvements

- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and come up with new solutions

- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

- Should be able to suggest new product features through market research and customer interaction

- Demonstrate compelling RoI to clients to help business in closing new leads

- Conduct client workshops, set the right expectations and manage relationships throughout project

- Communicate regularly with development team during implementation of the solution

- Should be hands-on, thorough in their approach and not afraid of technical deep-dives

- Preparing screen mockups and conducted design walkthroughs with the development and QA team

Desirable:

- Extensive knowledge of banking and financial services domain.

- Experience in scaling up of a product.

Requirements:

- Experience in gap analysis

- Working knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle

- Ability to write SQL code to extract data and perform analysis from large databases

- Ability to document and communicate data requirements both within the team and to other teams

- Ability to solve complex business problems.

- Proven working experience in delivering high quality documentation paying attention to detail

- Excellent written & communication skills in English

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development

- Strong ETL (Talend or SSIS or Spool) design and development capabilities is a plus

- Atleast 5 years of experience in Banking and Financial services domain.
