The Role:

- We are seeking a Product Manager - AI Solutions and Search to lead AI-driven product initiatives at JoVE.

- This role focuses on evaluating market trends, identifying AI opportunities, and delivering AI-powered solutions to enhance user experiences.

- The ideal candidate will have experience working with AI and machine learning models, recommendation engines, advanced search systems, and is technically adept to collaborate closely with engineering and design teams.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate market trends and emerging AI technologies to assess their applicability for JoVE's products.

- Prioritize impactful AI use cases by working closely with stakeholders and aligning with user needs.

- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-based features such as intelligent search, recommendation engines, and personalization.

- Work closely with data science teams to ideate and implement AI models like RAG (Retrieval- Augmented Generation), ML models, and vector search technologies.

- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to implementation, employing Agile methodologies.

- Define success metrics for AI-based initiatives and evaluate product performance against ROI and other KPI's.

Requirements:

- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field.

- 3+ years of product management experience with a focus on AI-driven solutions, such as search technologies, recommendation engines, or personalization.

- Hands-on experience with RAG models, vector search technologies (e.g., Pinecone), and machine learning models.

- Hands on experience with SQL is required and programming knowledge of python is a plus.

- Familiarity with modern tech stacks, APIs, and data pipelines to understand the development frameworks used by engineering teams.

- Experience with analytics Redash, Mixpanel,PowerBI.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a passion for solving complex business problems.

- Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution and drive projects in fast-paced environments.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Conduct market and competitive research (primary and secondary).

- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Trello.

- Proven ability to manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.

- Strong documentation skills, including writing detailed PRDs and user stories.
