JOB DESCRIPTION: SeniorAnalyst, Analytics, Global Data & Information Management  JLL, an international real estate management company, is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our global Data & Information Management organization. We are seeking candidates that are self-starters who can work in a diverse and fast-paced environment that can join our team immediately.  Key Responsibilities  - Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports.   - Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.  - Design, develop and implement analytical techniques on large, complex, structured and unstructured datasets (including big data) to help make better decisions.  - Connect offline and online data to continuously improve overall understanding of customer behavior and journeys for personalization. Data pre-processing including collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing and visualizing large sets of data.  - Implement statistical and data mining techniques e.g. hypothesis testing, joins, aggregations, regressions, associations, correlations, inferences, clustering, graph analysis and retrieval processes on a large amount of data to identify trends, figures and KPIs across business units, segments, regions etc.   - Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems.Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets including social media data, web analytics and public data.  - Ability to draw relationships between different data sources across different business lines, data sources and establish the relationships in charts and dashboards that are meaningful to the business.  - Work with management to prioritize business and information needs  - Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.  - Tests and monitorsdata / information management processes to ensure data quality and consistency in support of business initiatives.  - Manages the identification, prioritization and remediation of data quality issues.  - Engages with colleagues and internal customers to understand business requirements, and to support the accurate business usage andinterpretation of JLL data.  - Develops documentation and data flow diagrams to maintain accurate metadata and data lineage.  - Participates in the design and development of technical solutions to ensure that business requirements are satisfied.  - Work closely with Global data and information management teams across the organizations to understand and define the analytic requirements for the business.  - Guide junior level analysts on data analysis and data analysis methodologies and models.   Qualifications  - Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a quantitative discipline in science, business, or social science. Advance degree and/or 4 years of experience in the fields of information science, computer science or analytics.  - Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.  - Knowledge on Big Data/Hadoop ecosystem (MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Mongo DB, Cassandra, Scala) and data streaming technologies (Spark, Flink)  - Familiarity with API design   - Knowledge of standard analytical, reporting and programming languages and their application (such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, R, VBA, JavaScript, Python,XML etc.)   - Expertise in various reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Advanced Excel, Power-Pivot etc.)  - Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.  - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy  - Understanding of data and systems engineering concepts to effectively integrate and analyze data to develop actionable business information deliverables.  - Able to think logically, organize work flows efficiently, and solve problems independently.  - Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of executing on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast paced environment.  - Capability to self-learn new software applications and programming languages.  - Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
