SEEKING A "LEADER', NOT JUST THE PRINCIPAL
- Based in Faridabad (Delhi-NCR), Jiva Public School (K-12) (www.jivapublicschool.com), that is one of India's leading educational institutions affiliated to the ICSC/CISCE board, is looking for a visionary principal who can foster an innovative, constructive learning environment. You must have strong values and integrity, and be able to tackle the myriad challenges that exist in school education.
- You must be experienced, erudite, competent and resourceful, and must be able to leverage the freedom given to lead the school.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead and uphold the core values and beliefs of the institution and establish and promote a congenial environment amongst all staff and students.
- Create a school climate in which staff, students, and parents can develop a mutual sense of trust, participation, understanding, and appreciation of diversity among staff, students, and the school community.
- Establish and promote high standards of academic excellence and performance for all students and staff.
- Develop and implement an Annual, Comprehensive Educational Plan, and accomplish school goals and objectives consistent with the defined plan.
- Ensure integration of innovative teaching-learning pedagogies in curriculum and lesson plans.
- Supervise and oversee admissions, timetable, and allocation of staff's and non-teaching staff's roles & responsibilities.
- Responsible for continuous assessment, benchmarking, innovation and implementation of appropriate processes to constantly improve.
- Supervise and evaluate staff based on the Evaluation procedure followed by Jiva; provide appropriate staff development activities to ensure job effectiveness.
- Prepare reports on a regular basis to demonstrate the progress being made in the school. Uses this data in decision-making and goal-setting.
- Organize and promote extracurricular programs and activities both intra- and inter-school to promote the holistic development of children.
- Recruitment of the right talent, and their periodic teacher training
- Maintain positive and cordial relationships with staff and parents.
- Handle official correspondence relating to the school and furnish, within the specified dates, the returns, and information required by the Board.
- Overall administration of the school
- Assume other responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Desired Profile:
- Post-graduate/Ph.D. with B. Ed or M.Ed
- Over 10 Years of teaching experience along with a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience in a well-established educational institution.
- Organizing and planning skills with excellent communication skills.
