Position Title - Manager - Business Development - Adhesives

Position Summary:
The role of a Manager in Business Development typically involves overseeing and guiding the growth and expansion strategies for the Adhesives business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase market share in the adhesives sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to foster long-term growth.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and sales teams to align business objectives and drive product innovation.
- Prepare and present proposals, sales presentations, and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and promote our products.
- Analyse sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Preferred Experience & Qualification:
- B.Sc/B.Tech Chemical Engineering.
- 7 to 8 years of business development experience in Pressure Sensitive Adhesives.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market data and trends to make informed decisions.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating contracts and deals with clients and partners.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
