We are a rapidly growing company in the consumer durables service space. Present in 225 locations across India we have a 400 strong in-house team and 600 executives on contract through our franchisees. We are authorized service vendors for leading retailers and brands. Over a million homes in India have used our services.

India has over 175 million households with some sort of electronic / electrical appliance. But in the event of a problem there is no single organized and reliable entity that one can approach for service. Jeeves aims to be the company to approach should you have a problem with any product, any brand anywhere in India. We are looking for seasoned finance and accounts professional who shares our passion for consumer service, sees the huge opportunity that exists in the consumer service space and the unique position we are in to build a strong service focused organization supported by strong processes, systems and a consumer oriented culture.

Position: Financial Controller

Job Description:

The role would involve

1. Implementing product, brand, business unit and company-wide tracking of costs, financial control and risk management

2. Monthly P&L, B/S and C/F

3. Compliance of statutory requirements. Working knowledge of Service tax, VAT and TDS.

4. Cash flow planning and fund utilization statement. Working capital planning and management.

5. Monthly review of A/R, A/P, credit policy, and reconciliation of key accounts.

6. Contract negotiations with vendors, drawing up, monitoring and managing credit policies and SLAs with business customers, franchisees and outsourced partners

7. MIS to top management on critical business related parameters

8. Will report to the CEO

9. Manage a team of accountants

10. Implement strong processes for tracking organization’s financial performance.

Ideal Candidate would be: CA with at least 10-15 years of experience working in a transactions intensive environment, pan-India operations and with strong process and people skills. Must be very comfortable with IT. Ideal candidate can grow to become the CFO.

- Should have handled a team of at least 10 persons.

- Good communication skills

- Analytical ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and propose creative and pragmatic solutions in the best interest of business.

- Self-motivated, high energy levels and ability to manage and motivate a team of youngsters.

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to connect across functions and levels.
