An excellent Buyer Jewellery must have extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment. Having sound knowledge about silver, fashion, gold & precious stones.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for curating, retail planning & purchasing silver jewelry.

- Devise long-term development strategies for Jewelry Category.

- Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products

- Skilled in negotiation and private label development

- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility

- Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category

- Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory

- Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category

Requirements

1. Proven experience of atleast 6+yrs as category manager specifically in Jewelry (Silver, Precious stones, gold, Fashion Jewelry)

2. Proficient knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles

3. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
