Role & Responsibility
- Co-ordinate with Inbound and Outbound team and follow the quality check requirements. Approve incoming orders by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Manage quality check during all phases of production.
- Coordinate with existing vendors on the orders raised and deliveries.
- Ensure Assistant buyers provide timely Vendor Line sheet and Measurement Sheet
- Co-ordinate with internal design team for the mood boards for the respective concept and current themes approved for the respective season.
- Ensure timely - Good to Go- on daily events
- Coordination with Warehouse and Vendor regarding queries/mismatches.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong Buying and Merchandising experience at a senior level within a retail environment, with a good track record of success
- The ability to communicate confidently at all levels and across many functions internally and externally
