Java Architect - IT

We have a leadership opportunity for Java Architect with one of our client for Pune location.

Job Description:

- As Senior Architect, should take ownership of architecture and design in Java / J2EE and its integration with other systems.

- Should lead technical transformation and application renovation initiatives for a portfolio of applications.

- Should help analyze the problems in troubled projects and provide solutions, and help in their implementation.

- Should lead framework design & implementation.

- Should promote usage of tools, automation and take up initiatives in Continuous Integration & DevOps.

Required Skills:

- Should have 9 to 12 Years of Experience in Java / J2EE technologies, with at least 4 years in Architecture & Design.

- Expert on core Java, J2EE concepts. Up-to-date on upcoming trends on J2EE platforms (incl open source), frameworks and products from different vendors.

- Excellent logical, lateral thinking, analytical and debugging skills. Ready to learn new proprietary frameworks and implement / guide others.

- Should have used Tools across the SDLC phases of a project ranging from Architecture / UML tools to Continuous Integration, Build Automation, Static Code Analysis, Automated Unit Testing, Code Profiling, Test management and Performance testing.

- Good knowledge of Optimized Global Traffic Management with Cedix

- Good knowledge of Multi-CDN Strategy including Level 3 Having good knowledge of Apostrophe CMS framework and can design flexible widgets

- Good knowledge of globally distributed database service like Microsoft's Cosmos DB along with working knowledge of MongoDB as wire protocol

- Good knowledge of lightweight and efficient JavaScript engine Node.js- with npm ecosystem

- Good working knowledge of NGINX HTTP server and reverse proxy as well as an IMAP/POP3 proxy server

- Good knowledge of Apache Geronimo with runtime creation of Java/OSGi server along with apache Tomcat

- Continuous Integration of Apostrophe with Jenkins and GitLab along with deployment promotion to various environment

- Good knowledge of an HTTP accelerator designed for content-heavy dynamic web sites like cache server Varnish, EdgeCast, Akamai etc
