Role: Assistant Manager – HR

Direct Reportees: None

Reporting to: Senior Manager - HR

Role Details:

The role essentially has 2 aspects:

Business Partnering role where the individual supports the Sales & Marketing Teams for Primary Care Business.

Primary Care employs close to 400 people and the role will independently handle 4 regions out of the 8 Regions in all in terms of all HR Processes based on a deep understanding of the business. The other aspect will be a Specialist Role where the Individual acts as an expert for the organization in terms of L&D and Campus Recruitment processes and their implementation.

Business partnering role will involve the following:

- Recruitment for all open positions and well as to build future capability.

- Partnering with Business on Organizational Talent Review process for identifying the future Talent Pipeline for critical roles.

- Driving the Reward and Recognition programs and initiatives for the teams.

- Budgets and Headcount Management

- Driving the Performance Management cycle for the business based on J&J’s “5 Conversations” Framework for all People Managers

- Employee Engagement initiatives and driving the “Global Credo Engagement Survey” across the business.

- Resolving employee and disciplinary issues in the Unionized Field force.

Learning & Development:

- Training Needs Identification across Functions

- Creation of Annual Training Calendar and Rollout of Offerings.

- Employee Induction Program & Tracking the 180 Day program.

- Managing the nomination process for Janssen India for the Global Training Programs

Campus Recruitment:

- Managing the entire Summer Internship Program and Full time campus hire engagement and on boarding.

- Be the campus point of contact and build the employer brand.

Preference will be for candidates from Premium B-Schools and with Consumer / Pharma Industry Background.
