Manager - Internal Auditor
Criteria:
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar leadership level position with a successful track record of achieving results
- Extensive experience in handling Retail Operations (Jewellery and Apparel)
Responsibilities for Internal Auditor:
- Develop internal audit scope and audit plans
- Acquire, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document process
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
- Identify loopholes and share risk aversion methods and cost savings
- Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
- Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
- Conduct follow up audits
- Evaluate internal audit suitability, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and internal controls effectiveness.
- Identify level of conformance with established rules, regulations, policies and procedures;
Competencies.
- Capable of working in a team environment, and in various departments across the facility.
- Ability to work across multiple departments
- Requires a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Excellent people management skills.
Qualifications for Internal Auditor
- MBA in accounting, preferred / CA
- Certified Internal Auditor, preferred
- Excellent analysis and data reporting skills
- High level interpersonal skills
- Proven work experience as an auditor
