Iyurved is building a global FMCG brand based on efficacy and convenience for the woman of the house. It offers health benefits for common concerns around her kids, herself and her family. Our first products are centred around kids offering benefits around brain, healthy weight gain, sleep, eyes, immunity, acne and general daily nutrition.
At our core, we believe in easy, effective nutrition and feel that a lot needs to be done around preventive healthcare and "lifestyle as medicine".
Iyurved is founded by Vandita and Ketan, a husband and wife entrepreneurial team (Vandita founded a foods company Sacheez in 2008-09 and Ketan co-founded Mettl and ran it for 10 years before selling it to a US MNC) who saw that there is nothing equivalent available in the market and there is a strong case to build a large Indian brand in this area. We are 10 people strong at the moment and are supported by some of the best consultants creating a very strong product and brand IP.
Job description:
After extensively testing our products and taking feedback from customers over the last 12 months, we feel that we are starting at a huge opportunity. To make the most of this opportunity, we want to build a marketing machinery that not only reaches to more and more people, but also cements us as the most effective and convenient brand for common health benefits. All this while being extremely frugal and efficient.
Given that we are a small team, this will be a very hands-on role and will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing our overall digital marketing strategy. We are currently active on Facebook, Google and Amazon and want to expand to Youtube and Influencer marketing as well.
With time this role can grow and include marketing activities for general trade and modern trade as well and also might include different geographies in addition to India
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all digital marketing including Facebook campaigns, Google campaigns, Amazon campaigns, SEO activities and Email marketing
- Own and execute all activities around influencer marketing
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess it against goals
- Come up with creative ways of increasing reach and traffic on our website
- Executing strategies to ensure that our website conversion rates increase with time
- Implementing all the digital marketing activities for all the geographies we are active in
- Come up with ideas for new products, services etc around our area of play
- Collaborate with agencies and external partners
- Over time, recruit new people and build a work class team under you
Must-haves for the role:
- 3-4 years of experience in digital marketing preferable in a D2C food company or an FMCG brand
- Strong success record in building the digital marketing muscle in the past
- Experience with analytical systems and reporting and in-depth knowledge of paid advertising platforms
- Passion for hands-on digital marketing and building brands with long term aspirations of becoming the best in the world in these areas
