ITC Infotech - Principal - Financial Analytics

ITC Business consulting is a new age consulting group which has done numerous path-breaking consulting engagements across US, EU, EMEA for clients ranging from - CPG, Bank, Airlines, Retail, Hospitality etc. The group is on a steep growth curve and is looking to recruit bright candidates who can be part of this exciting journey!

The position is for the Business Analytics Line of Business (LOB). The objective of this position is to be able to successfully understand the Business Problem from the client, articulate Solution that is Analysis Flows which shall aptly identify the root cause of the problem and also successfully delivery of the projects.

Our Business Analytics spans across areas such as (i) Planning Budgeting and Reporting, (ii) Profitability and Cost Management (iii) Working Capital Management (iv) Governance and Risk Management

She/ He should have strong acumen in :

- Analyzing current and past financial data and performance

- Establishing cause and effect relationship between business issues/challenges/gaps and their financial impact

- Should be able to identify trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement

- Should be able to conceive financial analytics models in the four areas mentioned above

The profile shall also involve working on Analytics Tools such as Tableau, Qlick Sense/View, Xcelsius.

She/he shall also be responsible to drive Consultative Sales in these areas. Ideally she/ he should be a Cost Accountant / Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance with strong finance domain knowledge. Previous experience in working in SAP/Oracle ERP environments will be an added advantage.

Should have high level of commitment, initiative and on the fly problem solving capacity and should be also ready to take on the role of Practice Lead in future.

Functional Aptitude :

- In-depth knowledge of industry specific cost model, cost drivers

- Deep knowledge of various types of cost accounting models - Activity based costing, Standard costing, Throughput costing, Lean costing and cost methods like Process Costing. Job Costing, Batch Costing, Operating Costing etc.

- In depth understanding of Planning and Budgeting and Reporting Function

Technical Aptitude :

- Should have knowledge and work experience in Business Analytics tools such as Tableau, Qlick Sense/View, Xcelsius.

Other Qualities :

- Adequate experience in client-facing roles

- Highly Effective Communication Skills

- Ability to train and lead a team of junior consultants

- Experience in driving high-quality presales work with consultative flair
