About the Product

The company is seeking a qualified, passionate and energetic individual to join as a Technical Project Manager. A qualified candidate is someone that is a self-starter, collaborative by nature and in behavior and has an insatiable desire to guide application delivery teams to deliver high quality results.

The Project Manager handles a variety of roles ranging from managing projects to leading project sales pursuits to becoming a trusted advisor to our clients. The role may involve the coordination of pre-sales support consisting of: project definition, scoping/sizing, technical alternatives, plus the presentation and/or proposal of results. The primary role is post-sales delivery of projects ensuring on time and on budget performance, potentially in an individual and/or combined team environment.

Project Managers are responsible for consulting on, or managing, projects involving software development, systems engineering, and/or IT strategic planning. Other responsibilities could include Project Management Organization (PMO) development, Microsoft Project Server implementations, Program and Portfolio management engagements.

In addition, the role requires the individual to serve as a liaison between the client, project members and management, providing status, managing expectations, addressing issues/concerns, building team effectiveness, and managing timelines, deliverables and costs.

Qualifications: BE/MCA computer Science/Electronics

Experience: 10-12 years in IT industry.

Primary Responsibilities

1) Accountable and responsible for the project plan definition and successful management of technology delivery projects; project overall timeline/cost for a project based on provided effort estimates, available budget and resources

2) Ensure that project scope is defined, contained and delivered as agreed

3) Should have grown from Technical roles to manage a team of 20-30 people.

4) Ability to dive into technical aspects like Requirement, design, estimation

5) Very good in SDLC processes- including Agile, Scrum etc.

6) Excellent Communication skills. Proven track record of managing offshore teams of size 20+

7) Complete understanding of Onsite- Offshore model

8) Good Problem solving, Analytical skills

9) Team player and very good people management skills

10) Fast learner and ability to take stretch objectives

11) Proven track record of managing team using both Agile & Waterfall/Iterative models.

Essential Technical Skills

1) Good Knowledge of Dot net 3.5 frame work and above.

2) C# and ASP.net exposure. Not expecting to code but should know what challenges will be there and able
to make proper decision in case of technical challenges

3) Good Requirement analysis & Design experience (Design patterns)

4) Good knowledge of WCF/Web services.

Preferable

1) Scrum master certification

2) Product owner certification.
