Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the PMO team to develop and implement project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the IT department.
- Assist in managing the IT project portfolio, including prioritization, resource allocation, and alignment with business objectives.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of project governance frameworks to ensure project success.
- Assist project managers with resource management, including personnel, budgets, and external vendors.
- Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies to proactively address potential project issues.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and PMO effectiveness.
- Provide support to project managers and teams on PMO standards and methodologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PMO processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in project management or a related field (an internship or volunteer experience can be considered).
- Strong understanding of fundamental project management principles and methodologies (e.g, Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes
