- Serve as a point of contact and/or escalation for IT-related requests for services, information or direction for companies website, internal operations, MIS, hardware support, software solutions and other company related IT services.
- Create a business partnership and ensure close cooperation between the respective business area and IT.
- Provide consulting to the business area on IT-related issues.
- Enable and enhance communications between IT and the business area. Educate the business area as needed on IT processes and methodologies.
- Participate as required in business management meetings
- Also coordinate/lead with the IT team and developers of the company.
IT projects management:
- Ensure resources, either internal from associated IT Departments or external are secured to meet business demands
- Assist in compiling, justifying and getting approval for project proposals.
- Ensure the business requirements are clearly defined, approved, communicated and understood.
- Ensure solutions are delivered according to approved budget and target dates
Application Support:
- Tracks, troubleshoots and resolve application related issues. Analyze error/fault messages and questions. Answer questions, clear faults, propose solutions and/or arrange appropriate measures to be taken, involve experts.
- Liaise with customer groups and dedicated other IT functions to optimise user support. Ensure close collaboration with appropriate system owners and key stakeholders in business
