Being the co-owner of IT enabled business improvement, lead the entire IT Demand Portfolio of Sales, Marketing, FG Logistics/Warehousing, Consumer/Trade/Influencer Loyalty, Sales Budgeting, Sales Planning, Market Expansion, Lead Management, Employee/Trade/Influencer Learning Management, GTM Master data, along with other Non-Application web presence like brand and corporate websites, Digital Marketing and Social Media & Processes across all business lines of Company (Plumbing, Adhesives, Bathware, Paints). A Key member of the IT team who will play a pivotal role in identifying IT opportunities working closely with business led CRM teams and integrating Business Leaders, stakeholders and technology to drive digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
Financial:
- IT Project ROI and business case
- Overall IT cost reduction
- Optimizing Total Cost to Sell
- IT led business transformation to a lean and agile model
Customer:
- Co-own and drive the digital transformation
- Business Engagement with IT
- Trade Partner Engagement through Digital capabilities
- On-time and error free project delivery
- Co-owning the transformation of IT to a Strategic Partner role within the organization
Process:
- Agile, Optimized and lean processes across responsible domains with IT enablement
- Co-own the IT Strategy and improve IT Service Management Process
Capability:
- Platform and product evaluation
- Manage Vendors and govern service levels
- Mange Projects with high intensity and scope
- Identify, ideate, socialize and execute IT enablement opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Loyalty Management, Logistics, FG Warehousing, Digital Marketing and Logistics/Warehousing functions.
- To exploit models like Cloud, SaaS and work on introducing disruptive technologies
- Managing the IT Demand Management Process
- Managing the IT Support Process
Measurable deliverables:
- Business value creation and ROI from IT initiatives and Projects
- Business & Trade Engagement levels with IT
- Reduction of IT delivery cycle times across all spheres including Projects and Maintenance/Support
- Adherence of SLA's in Support
- Short term - Enhance stability to our GTM systems. Integration of current capabilities across business lines and introducing new integrated platforms identified as priority. Establish the new IT demand management process.
- Medium term - Implementation/Upgradation and embedment of SAP HANA, Integrated solutions in domains not limited to Sales Planning/Budgeting, Discount Management, Sales Force and Customer/Trade/Influencer learning, SFA, DMS, CRM, Loyalty, Logistics/Warehousing and Analytics platforms integrating all business divisions of ASTRAL. Introduce RPA, AI and ML models to improve Order to Cash Cycle. Optimize and integrate call centers.
- Long Term - Ideate and introduce new Digital business models. Introduce advanced Analytics and decision-making capabilities bringing in predictive and prescriptive capabilities.
Education:Engineering (BE/BTech) graduate or a reputed Business Administration qualification, SAP Certification in SD module preferable
Experience:
- 15 + Years of relevant experience (other non-related experience to be excluded)
Specialized Knowledge - Have lead multi locational IT projects
- Have lead IT enabled Process Transformational and Improvement Projects in Sales Planning, Sales execution, Marketing, Loyalty, Logistics, Warehousing domains.
- Hands-on implementation, support and governance experience of SAP-SD, Discount Management Tools, Sales Budgeting Solutions, Sales Planning Solutions, SFA, DMS, Logistics projects.
- Implemented Customer loyalty and trade loyalty projects.
- Setting up Digital Marketing Platforms
- Setting up of Sales & Product related Learning Management Systems
- Knowledge in Analytics Platforms preferably with project experience
- Good Functional knowledge on web technologies and mobile application technologies with focus on UX design and governance
- Have managed Application Maintenance/Support
While not mandatory, would prefer:
- 2 to 3 year experience in Sales/Marketing line function
- Domain knowledge over Building Material Industry and proven track record in this Industry
- Participated in Projects of process re-engineering and cost optimization
- Exposure to Change management
- PMP certification
- Participated in Enterprise level Digital Transformation Projects
- Participated in AI, ML, IOT, RFID enablement projects
