Overall responsible for staffing and performance management of IT team and projects.
- Address IT needs of the organization for both internal and external customers.
- Devices complete IT framework for the Organization.
- Drive business growth for the company through the IT projects (ERP, CRM, HRMS and Legacy System integration's).
- Implement IT enablement in the Organization.
- Communicate the company's technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement the technology trends and platform.
- Spearhead the Digital initiative of the Organization.
- Manage and develop internal teams
- Engage with external vendors and technology associates, as when required
The broad responsibilities of a IT Head/CTO would include but not limited to :
- Program implementation management of various current and forthcoming projects
- Understand requirements for new projects and guide the IT team on project planning, scheduling, reviewing and monitoring of the IT jobs at hand
- Manage project risks, delays, impact on main business as well as mitigation plans
- Put quality and process checks to ensure timely and to satisfaction delivery of all projects
- Build tools and plans for training modules around projects at hand
- Advice corporate leadership about the need for timely investments in IT
- Align the IT vision with the overall business strategy of the organization and be accountable for planning and execution of the IT vision to support business objectives
- Own and deliver IT initiatives and services to all business units and departments (Accounts, HR, Marketing, Academic, Business Development, Customer Facing etc) of
- Ensure IT projects are functioning smoothly and efficiently for all employees and customers (i.e. students and parents)
- Devise complete IT framework, technology procedures and practices along with key decision makers of the company
- Set up policies and structures for managing the underlying IT infrastructure including computers, servers, peripherals, telecommunication systems, internet connectivity, software applications, video content, LMS etc.
- Allocate specific roles and responsibilities to IT team
- Manage team needs and requirements, mentor them and infuse a teamwork ethic. As and when required, should be able to jump into the code himself/herself to lead by example and be on top of the work happening in the department
- Work with the management, IT team members and external partners to ensure that the IT infrastructure and digital assets are working efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and Execute for the Short/Medium and Long Range horizons
